Always
apply your rouge - using a cream rouge over your
foundation - just under the outside corner of the eye.
Apply a little more vividly right against the eyelash,
as this is the point where the cheek sags and shows
fatigue. Then flash it down and out towards the ears
before you sweep it in chinwards just above the
jawline. Now fill it in across the cheek towards the
bridge of the nose if you have a narrow face.
Accentuate the color towards the lobes of the ears if
you have a broad face. This may take a little practice
and patience.
When
choosing an iron, remember it is easier to achieve a
good finish with one of reasonably heavy weight. It
will also be less tiring to use, since the operator
needs to use less pressure than with a lighter one.
Even
the most beautiful women run the risk of acquiring a
double chin. Pinching the chin is one way to keep it
from developing a bulge, but this must be done gently,
otherwise it will bruise.
Be
lovely from the moment you step out of bed in the
mornings. Immediately wash your face and smooth in a
little Oil of Olay, to give your skin a delicate

To
remove fat from the back of your neck, first rub
slimming cream on your neck, and then dab it with skin
tonic. For this you will need to wrap some cottonwool
around a wooden spoon. Sprinkle with skin tonic and
bang the neck with it until the skin is warm and red.
Biro
pens are a wonderful invention, but annoying when they
run out - suddenly. Not having any ink, I took out the
Biro tube and used an eye-dropper to put water in the
cartridge. Success! It wrote at least 4 - 5 more
letters.
Have
you noticed that the coffee at the bottom of the tin
has little flavor? This is because the flavor of
coffee always rises. Turn the coffee tin upside down
in the cupboard to maintain the flavor.
If
a youngster is sick and confined to bed, prepare a
deep play-tray, calling it a "Happy Tray".
Put in all their favorite things such as picture
books, building blocks, dolls or small cars. It will
take their mind off not feeling well, and can be
gathered up quickly when they fall asleep. Rest and
sleep will cure them. Loving them is what really
matters.
The
tedious job of removing pin feathers from dressed
ducks and geese can be speeded up by melting a small
amount of paraffin wax and applying it with a brush,
than dipping the bird in cold water to harden the wax.
When the paraffin is pulled off, it removes the pin
feathers.
